In 1892, Champollion the famous French Egyptologist uncovered the first rare text engraved on the ruins of the Deir El Bahary temple giving allusions that a woman reigned over Egypt.

He was followed 30 years later by Mariette who started excavation works at the site of the 2nd South portico of the temple and unveiled the first engravings representing the fabulous "Pount" expedition.

3400 years ago, our forefathers the ancient Egyptians led by Queen Hatshepsout set up an expedition to the country of "Pount" and carried out the first recorder barter transaction in the history of humanity.
